The oak additions to this stunning swimming pool room were supplied by Enville Oak to enhance the area with natural and homely lines to cut through the white space. We utilised large, square beams of oak to equalise the immense scale of the room and its impressive features.
The end result is a perfectly balanced indoor pool area for the homeowners to enjoy.
Swimming Pool Room Features
Air Dried Oak Frame
For this project, Enville Oak used 240mm x 240mm square air dried oak to frame the swimming pool room glazing. The substantial oak beams enhance the warmth of the room and break up the monochromatic pallet.
Air dried oak is a stable material that reduces shrinkage due to the natural drying process post-fell; this makes it suitable for securing glazing.
Oversized Glass
The swimming pool room utilises huge expanses of glass panels, allowing plenty of natural light in.
In accordance with the latest regulations, toughened glass is used in order to provide the impact resistance required for the setting.
French Door Access
The French doors were created using an oak frame, seamlessly blending them into the larger expanses of oak framing.
Providing access to a hot tub room as well as a rear patio area, the French doors demonstrate how practicality can be achieved without straying from aesthetics.
Additional Facilities
The swimming pool room is further complemented by a sauna and changing rooms that lead directly from the main room, making great use of the space.
