This beautiful property was looking to make the most of their expansive outdoor space with a dedicated covered area which would allow them to enjoy the English countryside whenever they desired.
Enville Oak was contracted for the build and installation of a large oak framed entertainment area which incorporated both a covered area and an open-top walkway for multifunctional use.
The building had to fix onto the existing property, so it was essential this build was carefully constructed, with a thorough site survey and measurement carried out by our team.
Oak Framed Entertainment Area
Consultation and decision time...
Following consultation, we decided upon the following – an open sided gazebo, framed with oak rafters, which extended from the property and accumulated in a clay tiled roof area, perfect for hosting barbeques and other events.
Oak rafters
We utilised oak rafters across the gazebo structure to build a highly durable yet visually pleasing frame. The client added decorative lighting throughout, which curated a homely atmosphere whilst ensuring the area could be used in the evenings.
Hipped clay tile roof
Hipped clay tile formed the roof, with white boarding to the topside of the oak rafters to complete the clean and contemporary look when viewing from the underside. Enville Oak’s clay tiles offer great durability in the English weather, and were the perfect material choice to complement the architecture of the existing property.
Open sides
An open sided design was decided upon to allow uninterrupted views from the house, and meant our clients could make the most of the fresh air barbequing on warm summer days.
Dedicated areas
This bbq gazebo was built by Enville Oak with dedicated areas in mind. We created a covered area which would allow our clients shelter in the event of a change in weather, with an open top walkway perfect for barbequing and additional seating.
