Available glazed or unglazed with bespoke joinery and tiled roofs, this feature frame will add style and beauty to the forefront of any home, creating real curbside appeal whilst also boosting the all-important value and practicality aspect to your residence.

Our porches and canopies can be fitted by our on site fitting team or alternatively, we can supply as a pack, pre-made to your size and specifications to be fitted by your desired tradesmen.

All of our products are manufactured using traditional oak framing methods and are hand-crafted by our specialist oak framing team.

    Types of Oak Porches

    Open Porch

    Enclosed oak porch with stone based. Beside each side of the porch are potted shrubs.

    A four-posted structure with an open front and sides, allowing for a seamless integration with the property's façade. This simple yet elegant design often includes a brick plinth or dwarf wall to provide partial enclosure, ensuring the porch remains both functional and aesthetically pleasing.

    An enclosed porch is an ideal solution to extend the living space of your home, providing a seamless transition from the outdoors. This porch features sturdy brick walls or glazing, fully enclosing the structure to offer both shelter and additional space.

    Canopies

    An oak canopy is the simplest porch structure and consists of an overhead canopy that adds character and dimension to a home.

    Lean To’s

    oak lean to porch, with 2 vertical oak beams supporting the porch. The porch covers a sage green door. Beside the door that is a post box.

    A lean-to porch, features a forward-sloping roof supported by 2-4 posts. This practical and stylish addition provides a welcoming entrance to your home, perfectly complementing the overall look and feel of the property.

    Do you need planning permission for an oak porch?

    A porch will typically fall under permitted development, meaning you do not need planning permission to install it. For this to be the case, you must adhere to the limitations:
    ● The porch must be separated from the main property by the main property’s outer door
    ● Any glazing or electrical fittings must comply with relevant building regulations
    ● Must be a similar appearance to the exterior of the main property
    ● Not located within 2m of any highway boundary
    ● Maximum floor area of 3m²
    ● Maximum height of 3m²
