Flat Roof Bungalow Orangery

While looking to extend their living room, this client wanted to maximise their garden views whilst maintaining privacy from neighbours.

Teaming up with local builders, Enville Oak constructed this bespoke oak and brick orangery, which finds the perfect balance between visibility and privacy for our clients.

The full height glass panels enable our clients, who are keen gardeners, to look out upon their garden, with direct access out. However, brickwork on one elevation limits the exposure of our clients to neighbours, whilst allowing them to transform this space into a comfortable and practical living area.

It's a great fit...

Attached to the client’s bungalow, the flat roof orangery is a great fit for the property, and does not restrict any lines of sight outwards.

The client has done a brilliant job styling the orangery as a natural extension of their property.

With ambient lighting fitted to the oak soffit, this orangery looks as beautiful at night as it does in the day.

Traditional Brickwork

One elevation of the orangery was built up in brickwork allowing for privacy from neighbours. The brickwork complements the tones of the existing property for a natural and harmonious appearance between the orangery and the property.

Full height glass

The full height glass sits within the oak frame constructed by Enville Oak and is designed for energy efficiency. The glass allows unobstructed views into the garden and maximises the natural light available in the structure.

High raised patio

The high raised patio enables our clients to sit outside or entertain guests in the garden. The aluminium doors leading directly out from the orangery to the garden provides a direct entryway.

Oak soffit and fascia

Oak soffit and fascia detail the perimeter of this building, finishing the structure off with a clean and authentic feel whilst protecting the orangery from rain and wind.

Aluminium lantern

Lanterns are a unique yet defining feature of orangeries. Installed on the flat roof, the aluminium lantern allows for plenty of natural light to enter from above and fill the room.
