When looking to diversify their offerings and make use of their unused space, this client situated on a countryside farm believed a holiday let was the perfect way to accomplish this.
Our client realised they could capitalise on the beautiful countryside surrounding their working farm with a unique holiday let which would allow guests a taste of the country lifestyle whilst living in true luxury. They got to work securing planning permission which abided to strict requirements so that the project could commence.
Enville Oak was commissioned to construct an authentic oak-clad holiday let, which would remain in keeping with the landscape and yet offer guests all the amenities they would need during their stay.
How did we achieve this?
Beginning with a site survey and measurement, Enville Oak went on to manufacture and install the holiday let with an open fronted garage.
Adhering to the planning requirements specified, the holiday let was built to high standards and met all regulations; it was complete with an aesthetic inspired by American stable blocks, with the horizontal softwood featheredge cladding paying homage to the working farm.
Open fronted garage
The open fronted garage is both a practical and unique feature of the holiday let.
Designed as a space where guests can safely leave their vehicles, the large garage is a selling point designed to attract guests.
Raised eaves
The structure features raised eaves to allow for extra worktop space internally, so guests can make the most of the comfortable living area.
Dormer windows
Dormer windows facilitate clear views across the countryside, as well as adding character to the external face of the holiday let.
Solid oak staircase
The external solid oak staircase leading onto the landing area of the private property means guests can come and go as they please.
Oak joinery casement windows
Oak joinery casement windows and an oak door complete the property. They lead into an open plan living area, which includes a bathroom, bedroom and open plan kitchen, dining and living room.
